Did you study photography in school?
I studied Design in School. Photography was part of the design program so I took a couple of classes both at Mesa Community College and Grand Canyon University.

Nikon all the way!

Favorite spot to shoot is the Goldfield Mountain area along the Salt River.

Dream location to shoot?
Iceland

What’s at the top of your gear wish list?
A good zoom lens. Something in the 100-400mm range.

Any advice to young, aspiring photographers?
Practice makes perfect. If you are not failing, you probably aren’t pushing yourself enough. It’s not fun to fail at anything but when you do it motivates you to go out and try again and again until you perfect what you are trying to accomplish.
