Administrative Assistant - Purchasing (North Phoenix)

We are currently seeking an energetic, multi-tasking, self-driven administrative support team member. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of retail and manufacturing materials replenishment and a background in data entry and supply chain management. And even if you don’t think you’re “ideal,” but you’re a fast-learner and all-around good soul… we’d love to hear from you! A little about the position: as a purchasing assistant, you will work with vendors to place orders for both products and raw materials. You’ll work under the supervision of the purchasing manager, and together will coordinate the order-processing and administrative duties necessary to keep the purchasing department running efficiently. In addition, you’ll maintain inventory and purchasing records and source vendors to ultimately enhance profitability and efficiency.

Work Qualifications:

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Ordering materials & processing orders based on production needs
  • Negotiating costs of materials and making cost-effective purchases

  • Maintaining a fully-stocked inventory by monitoring cycle counts of standard stock items

Framed Art and Mirror Manufacturer (North Phoenix)

We have an immediate opening for a full-time frame-creating wizard in our Commercial Production Department. What will you be doing? You’ll be helping people put their best face forward by building beautiful mirrors for homes and apartment complexes all across The Valley! You’ll also be cutting and joining frames for our Commercial Art clients. Working in our air-conditioned warehouse/distribution center in North Phoenix, you’ll be hands-on with every aspect of frame production—from construction of picture frames, photo frames, and mirrors to packaging the finished pieces for delivery.

This is a full-time, 40 hour a week position with overtime available as needed. Experience in picture framing or wood crafting will definitely put you on the top of our list, but is by no means a qualification. Custom Picture Framer
and Sales Associate

Love color, love creativity, love art, love custom framing? Come join the Hall of Frames family! A Hall of Frames custom picture framer must have a love for the arts and enjoy a creative and fast-paced environment. The job description is to have fun while working with people in framing their memories. In this position, you’ll design and construct frames to protect and display items like photographs, original watercolors, paintings on canvas, posters, certificates, 3D objects like medals and sports memorabilia, and more. Your daily undertaking will primarily be talking to customers about their projects and advising them on the best colors, styles, and materials needed to mount and frame their special items.

A professional picture framer must possess excellent communication and math skills. Candidates for employment must be able to measure and read a measuring tape, be knowledgeable of art mediums, and have a general eye for color and design. Prior experience in picture framing and retail sales experience is a huge asset. But if you’ve never worked in retail or picture framing, we’d still love to have you! We’d be thrilled to train qualified, committed candidates who we feel have the potential to become a picture framing designer & craftsman.

Art Delivery and Installation – Entry Level (North Phoenix)

We have immediate openings for full-time art installers to join our seasoned team of professionals. This is a fun and interesting position working with a great team of artistic people in a creative environment. Hall of Frames is an energetic, spirited company that rewards success. We pride ourselves by our ability to get the job done right the first time. Interested, but unsure of your qualifications? No problem! Specialized training will be provided, so you’ll be ready to make any wall more beautiful.

A bit about the feel of the job: A Hall of Frames art installer is a representative of the company. You must be a people person who ultimately strives to make the client happy. You’ll be involved in handling and installing framed artwork and mirrors in residences and in businesses. You’ll load and unload artwork/mirrors and deliver it to its destination. In addition to safely handling the art/mirror, you will work with the client to ensure the desired placement on their walls. After the client is thrilled with your services, you’ll be responsible for collecting any payment that may be due.

Work Qualifications:

  • Valid Arizona State “D” Operator Driver’s License
  • Clean driving record (no moving violations within the last 3 years)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to climb ladders & stairs

  • Load & unload merchandise to/from delivery trucks to location. Check all items for damage before loading and after unloading
  • Transport items to job site for installation
  • Document any damage or item returning to warehouse
  • Operation of warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, & hand trucks
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocol on job sites (such as wearing a helmet, booties, vests, and goggles)
  • Properly fill out trip logs using our mobile software system
  • Use of security lock hanging hardware, Z-Bar, D-Rings, and wall buddies
  • Maintain quality service by following organizational standards, policies, and procedures

Glazier-Commercial
Mirror Fabrication

General Laborer
(North Phoenix)

We have an immediate opening for a full-time general laborer to join our team as an apprentice for our delivery and installation team. This is an entry level position and a wonderful opportunity to learn a unique skill.

In this position, you will be assisting the lead installer while learning a skilled trade. When not assigned to a delivery install appointment the general laborer will be assigned custodian duties at the corporate office/distribution center.

Work Qualifications:

  • Reliable and punctual
  • Able to lift 50-60 lbs. effortlessly
  • Able to stand, stoop, kneel, climb, bend, crouch, reach for long periods
  • Able to climb up and down stairs / ladders
  • Able to work and communicate well with team members
  • Comfortable work shoes/boots. Steel toes preferred

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

Delivery & Install Apprentice: Provide labor support for Delivery & Install crew

  • Punctual arrival to work site
  • Load trucks from warehouse
  • Perform setup at job site. Unload truck and carry mirrors/art to designated floor/room
  • Assist installation team with lifting and hanging framed pieces
  • Provide cleanup tasks at job site

Warehouse Staff / Custodian: Perform tasks as needed for cleaning building

  • Sweeping & Mopping
  • Replacing light bulbs (requires climbing ladders)
  • Cleaning kitchen / bathrooms

  • Light landscape maintenance (may include light trimming / planting)
